Bo Bice and ‘Share the Beat’
It looks as though Bo will be appearing at the ‘Share the Beat’ concert in Atlanta on September 13th.
He’s not on the official website, but his name just appeared on the show’s MySpace page.
The gig is at the Tabernacle and the organization, which was founded by Robert Redford’s brother, raises money for organ transplant organizations.
OK, [...]

Sgt Pepper in Tulsa and Beaver Creek
As I write this, Jennheifer and Bo are getting ready for the last of the Sgt. Pepper gigs in Las Vegas. What a surprisingly fun tour this has turned out to be for all of us lucky enough to go. I honestly didn’t expect this, but with a couple of exceptions, all the fans have [...]

Finally Seeing Bo
Tomorrow night, one BFBer will finally see Bo play live after waiting for years. ErinBoberrin (surprisingly NOT her real name!) saw Bo once before when he played solo acoustic at a resort whose name escapes me now. But she lives in Colorado and Bo has never toured that state with his band.
She has waited patiently, [...]

‘That Guy’ on Bo Bice
This Todd Rundgren fan blogged about Saturday’s Sgt. Pepper show at Wolftrap and made his feelings about American Idol pretty clear:
I am not an American Idol fan. I don’t even like the premise of A/I. I wish it were banned forever from the air waves.
‘kay then. Tough crowd! Except guess what …
That said, [...]

Please Come to Boston
Take it for what it’s worth since it’s from the gossip page of the Boston Herald:
Boston rocker Pat Benti and his pal Bo Bice of “American Idol†fame are planning a “Boston Rocks for Roy†night to remember the legendary Roy Orbison. The show, which will feature both local and national acts, is tentatively scheduled [...]

And Your Bird Can Sing
**Updated Sunday 6.45pm**
I ran out of Sgt Pepper lyrics to use for blog title, so had to revert to Revolver (which is apparently Bo’s favorite Beatles album and also mine. ZOMG!!!! SOULMATES!!!)
I have a couple of videos for you from last night, courtesy of the lovely and talented sjwBo, but first a few quick observations [...]

With a Little Help From His Friends
Last night Lou Gramm was back, but Bo now has his own solo Beatles song! In addition to the group numbers and his own songs, he sang With a Little Help From My Friends to another packed house. Here’s video courtesy of Lady Lee:
Sorrow for sjwBo and Maisie, who missed the entire show save the encores [...]

Getting so much better all the time
A surprisingly straightforward interview with Bo in the Washington Post has a few insights into where Bo is and where he’s been, and maybe a hint or to about where he’s going.
So what the heck are you doing on a Beatles tribute tour? An Allman Brothers or Skynyrd tribute, I’d totally get. The Beatles [...]
