Better than Christmas Eve
It’s here – Bo will be on American Idol! Tonight! I could not be more excited and impatient.
Do you remember back to our very first glimpse of him?
He wasn’t on screen very long, he seemed a bit shy, and he was a little hard to see in all of those baggy clothes, but man! That voice stood out by a mile.
Tonight Bo steps back out onto the Idol stage, and he’s come a long, long way baby. His hair is longer, his jeans are much tighter, and he knows how to work a crowd like nobody’s business. What hasn’t changed – that growly, gorgeous, dripping with soul voice of his.
I am so excited that he’s going to be singing Witness. It’s a song that pretty much sums up the last few years for Bo and for his fans. We first heard it raw and unpolished and not quite ready near the end of his Idol run. But now, now it’s grown and deepened, learned a few lessons and gotten its feet under it. It’s stronger and more confident and it rocks harder than ever, and it’s a joy to behold.

It is hard to believe this is the same guy as the Rock Star that walked on the Atlantic City House of Blues stage. Thank you, Idol for bringing Bo into our lives.

BO TOTALLY ROCKED!! Not that there was any doubt he wouldn’t. Still, I’m just sooo thrilled for him! I bet STL will sell at least another 50,000 after this performance on “idol.” :)
