Bits and pieces
There’s a new interview out today on al.com that bounces around what’s up with Bo. It’s a nice little story, even if it doesn’t get into near enough detail.
About Broadway…
“It was outside my wheelhouse and something people might not expect me to go and do,” Bice, 37, says. “For me, having an opportunity that challenges you makes you a better artist and makes you a better performer. I was honored John Doyle (‘Pump Boys’ director and previous ‘Sweeney Todd’ Tony Award winner) was interested in auditioning me.”Rehearsals for “Pump Boys and Dinettes,” which depicts characters at a North Carolina diner and truck stop, begin Feb. 4 in New York.
About SugarMoney Records…
My main intent with the label is to pass on the knowledge of music and production and things that I love to people that continue want to grow, want to learn and want to be better at that craft. It’s an honor to be in the position I’m in now, a record label owner. I started Sugar Money Records started out of a necessity once I lost my record deal with RCA and got dropped. Some people walk around and try to figure out what they’re going to do next, me I wanted to continue to put out music I loved.
About…what? What are you recording, Bo? What???…
He calls for an interview during an evening drive from his Atlanta home to a recording session in Nashville, where Bice also maintains a residence.

I always love hearing that Bo continues to record music. I just wish I could get new Bo music into my hands. Waiting . . .
