Bo Does Bagdhad

We’ve all known Bo was entertaining the troops this week because Jackie ‘the Jokeman’ Martlin told the New York press about his trip in advance, but until today, we haven’t seen any pictures or blogs. Now sjohnston has unearthed the first Interwebs mentions of Bo’s trip:
On a brighter note i went to a USO show tonight “The Rock ‘N Comedy Tour”,I met some cool people and saw Jackie Martling of Howard Stern fame and Bo Bice of American Idol fame. The Rock ‘N Comedy Tour. One of the dirties comedian around…was great! And Bo is a damn good singer with a great band! I will be putting up a few shots from there when i get a bit of time.
The caption under this photo reads:
Rock ‘N Comedy tour in Baghdad, Iraq. Beleive it or not it was also his Birthday this evening! Great musician and great guy. But i never watch American Idol so i had no idea who he was!
Catch his show when he comes thru your town!
We plan to!

every photo of Bo always puts a smile on my face. I just love him. All Bo needs is to be seen and heard. He is such a great talent. He’s meeting all the right people. I feel the tide is gpoing to start to change for our sweet Bo. He looks so good in this photo. Love the hat.

Thanks sjohnston, you found a Bo in Baghdad mention. He looks happy in that picture, maybe it was right after the very dirty comedian and he was still laughing. I will be happy when he’s home, I kind of worry when he does these trips.

Bo looks good in camo. Big surprise. ;-)
Thanks Bo, JB, guys in the band and whomever else went, for going over there and, even for a little while, taking the troops minds off their jobs and the fact that they are so very far away from home. They must have LOVED you guys because, well, you are all awesome.

My new favorite photo of Bo!
I’m so proud of our troops and I’m happy that there are people like Bo and the guys who are willing to go entertain them. Come home safely!

Such brave soul. Who would’ve thought about spending one’s birthday in Baghdad? Kudos to Bo and his band too.
