Bo drops in on the Air Force
Air Force News has a story on Bo’s visit to a base in the Persian Gulf last Thursday. Even better, they have pictures! You gotta love the military.
Everyone looks thoroughly pleased, don’t they? Even people who weren’t there are very happy with Bo, like me and General Petraeus.
On behalf of the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Coast Guardsmen, deployed in support of Operations Enduring and Iraqi Freedom, Gen. David Petraeus, Multi-National Force-Iraq, commander, had these words to say Jan. 3 about American entertainers who put themselves in harms way to support the troops.
“I would like to thank Stars for Stripes for its continued commitment to boosting troop morale,” said General Petraeus. “Recent visits from entertainers have provided our troops with a well-earned break from the daily rigors of combat operations. Moreover, these visits are a tangible reminder to our troops here in theater of the continued support and commitment of the home front.”

I am so glad that Bo is making these guys smile! Looks like he’s telling the second guy quite the story.
Kudos to every person who goes out there to support the people stuck in such a horrible situation.

My heart bursts with pride. I am so glad to be a fan. Again, I just know he is saying just the right things to make them feel remembered, appreciated, loved, and prayed for.

What an awesome, selfless thing for Bo Bice to do, entertaining the troops. While troops may ask Bo for an autograph or to pose for a photo with them, I just know Bo is the one doing the thanking of every single military person, for their service and sacrifice for all our freedom. And he means it.

It’s sooo wonderful to see such a happy & healthy Bo doin’ such wonderful work! Seems the soldiers are really enjoying his company too. I love the one of the soldier laughing. I can’t help but think Bo’s departing some of his funny & charming southern wit!
