Farewell, brother

Sad news this morning of the death of guitar great Dan Toler. Dan will be remembered by most music fans for his days with Great Southern, The Allman Brothers Band, and the Greg Allman Band in the 70s and 80s. But the peeps will also treasure his playing with Bo on the Brothers of the Southland album a few years ago.

Here’s Bo, Dan Toler, and the rest of the Brothers at the Exit Inn in Nashville. (Dan is the man in the pale shirt who starts off Can’t You See.)

Condolences to Dan’s family and friends.

I am so sad to see this sad news. I had read he was ill but somehow thought he had recovered.

CYS is one of Bo’s best recorded covers, IMO.

    Thanks for the update.

We lost another master with Dan’s passing. I’m so glad Bo got to play with him & be friends with him. We are all richer for it!
