Good things come to those who wait – Decades Rock Live dvd
Way back in June of 2006, Bo Bice was a guest on the Decades Live Rock Concert starring Lynyrd Skynryd. It was a hell of a night – Bo sang a few of the band’s classic tunes with them, and then Skynyrd actually backed up Bo on The Real Thing (I know! We couldn’t believe it either.)
The show aired on vH1 a few months later, and there was talk of a DVD, but that never happened. But 4 years later and guess what?
Produced by Barry Summers, the critically acclaimed Decades Rock Live Concert Series featuring Lynyrd Skynyrd with original keyboardist, Billy Powell (RIP) and special guests 3 Doors Down, Hank Williams Jr and Bo Bice in this rockin’ live performance of “The Breeze” from the upcoming “Best Of Decades Rock Live” DVD coming in Winter 2010
Fantastic news! The Decades Rock Network is teasing the DVD by posting concert videos on youtube. Here’s Skynyrd, Bo, Hank Williams, Jr, and Three Doors Down:
Call Me The Breeze
I’d forgotten how out-of-his-mind excited Bo was that night. Isn’t it a riot watching him bouncing off the stage, the speakers, and the other musicians all through this song? Look closely, and you’ll see some of the other guys look at him and giggle every now and then – they got a kick out of it, too.
In addition to the Skynyrd show, the dvd will include footage from concerts featuring Heart and The Pretenders. Winter 2010 – I hope the that means this winter.

Very cool! I hope it means THIS winter too, something to give us warm Bo fuzzies during the cold and snowy nights.

hahaha, he’s so cute! i’m sure i noticed his excitement then, but looking back on it now makes it that much sweeter. he looks like a hyper little kid who thinks he snuck out on stage and never got caught :-D
