Lonely, Broke, and Wasted
Here’s the first look at one of Bo’s new songs – Lonely, Broke, and Wasted, co-written with Greg Barnhill.
Wow. It’s a gorgeous song, full of pain. It’s very spare and raw, and I hope it stays that way on the album.
Well done.

OMG! Absolutely breathtaking and beautiful! The song is a masterpiece and so is Bo’s voice and the emotions he puts into his performance!
If this is an example of what Bo and Mr. Barnhill’s can put together, then keep on writing boys! Wow!

If this is an example of a Barnhill co-write, may I suggest Bo’s new double B logo be changed from designating Bo Bice to Bice/Barnhill. Love this. More please. ASAP ;-)

This song is AMAZING. As if I weren’t already excited and anxious to hear the new CD…now I’m REALLY chomping at the bit!

I totally agree – I hope there is not a lot of production done to it – it is beautiful as it is. I love the collaboration, too – way to go, guys!

don’t know songwriters by name. Is he a big name?

This song makes my chest hurt. The lyrics and his vocals are a powerful combination. YES.

Love to hear this recorded, as long as they let Bo’s pure vocals be the focal point. It is sparse and powerful. Glad he is collaborating with other songwriters, I think he writes better with someone else there to bounce ideas off, plus it seems he doesn’t feel as much pressure on him to make the song ‘perfect’ if it’s not entirely his own.

[...] Lonely, Broke, and Wasted is raw and painful, full of longing. The mix of defiance and despair makes my throat ache. It’s a really well made song, one that echoes in my head for a long time after it’s over. (Watch it here.) [...]
