Long Road Back – see it, hear it, buy it
Bo officially debuted his new single, Long Road Back, on the Huckabee show last night. It sounded great, even with the governor and the show’s house band playing backup. (They meant well.)
The studio version of the single is now available for download at Bobice.com, for a mere $1.95. It’s very different from both the Huckabee version and the funkier, faster way Bo’s played it on tour. Countrified. (There are fiddles.) That sort of thing generally makes me wince, but I’m really enjoying the twist. Try it – I think you’ll like it.
ETA: Even better, the single is now selling for $.99. Good things come to those who wait.

I really like the “twist” too. It shows once again that Bo can sing anything and put it in any format/genre and it comes up sounding awesome. The day I “wince” is the day that Bo does Broadway and we all know that ain’t gonna happen!
It’s a very catchy tune, backup vocals are great, instrumentation great, worth every fiddlin’ penny you have. Go get it now!

I did see some head bopping in the audience! They liked it, they really liked it. Bo has such a beautiful, rich voice live and recorded. More people must hear him, I will make that my mission in life…..

I just bought it today – not sure about this arrangement versus the way he plays it live. I can’t be a country fan anymore than Bo can be a rap fan, but this isn’t 100% country, so that’s a plus.
The fiddle player is very talented – wonder who it is? (I mean on the recorded song, not on the video above).

Oh, was there a band in that video? Aw, just kidding, goodness gracious, Bo looks and sounds fabulous.
Love this song! It’s fun to see the same song changed up like that. I do love the funky, live version, but the recorded one is really great, so well-done! Go download it, what are you waiting for?

Oh. Huckabee has a house band on his show and Bo’s playing with it. Typing this out helped me absorb it. Bo looks/sounds good.

I’ve been out of the country (china) so I get the long long road part!! Gotta comment on the pretty shiny hair! For those of you seeing him tonight and this week post lots of stuff. I can’t go this time around. First east coast leg I’ve missed.
