Once more, with feeling
A couple of weeks ago I posted an audio version of one of Bo’s new songs, Different Shades of Blue. Because it’s so flat out gorgeous, I just have to give you another crack at it, this time in full audio-visual glory.
Bo is wrapping up his acoustic tour this week, testing out new songs and new arrangements, having snowball fights with his crew, and turning audiences into putty by dedicating a sweet rendition of Time In A Bottle to his newborn son Ean. It all sounds like a slice of of the good life, and makes me think that the restless days of this next song are long past. (Read the story behind You Take Yourself With You here.) I feel a bit guilty posting it right after DSoB, which is so good it makes every other song look a little weak in the knees. Still, Bo sounds great on it, and it’s nice to see his Dad get some musical love this time.
You Take Yourself With You was co-written with D. Scott Miller. (I told you that was him in the recording studio photo we saw!)

Just wow. DSoB is a beautiful tune, Bo should be very proud of the co-write and give himself two thumbs up for the vocal delivery. Bonus kudos for his lovely and spiffy jacket-wearing self.
Wishing that Bo sings “Time in a Bottle” at the two remaining venues, and that the videographer isn’t busted. How wonderful that Bo gives tribute to his newborn son and gives his Peeps the magic of him singing this song. Lovely!

This song should be on CMT…or the radio…or something. Why doesn’t Bo get any airtime???? He is just incredible…I don’t understand. This song is just great…I am anxious for his new CD!!!
Thank all of you on this site for keeping it going. I come here everyday to check out what Bo is doing.

After not attending the Jan. shows..I thought nothing could top Wild Roses, but DSOB is one of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard. Nothing better than seeing all the new songs live.
