Will Bo Dress the Part?
I’ve been thinking that Bo must have been pretty busy these last few months, what with all the stuff that must have been involved in starting his own independent record label, and I’m a little worried that he might not have given much thought to his wardrobe.
The ripped jeans and t-shirts and flip-flops are cool for performing, but what will Bo wear when he needs to switch from Rock!Star! to Label Exec? What outfits will put him in the mood for settling down for a fun evening with Promosquad research results?
I’m just not seeing him in the traditional suit and tie, and the whole Casual Friday polo-shirt-and-khakis don’t seem right either.
Luckily for Bo, I’ve been doing some research and I’ve found a way that he can adopt the very best of record label executive fashions – the Clive Davis tie and pocket square combo – while also adding a little of his own hippie chic.
Unfortunately, choice #1 doesn’t come with a matching pocket square, although I figure with some creative tailoring, one of his minions could come up with something, but I did find a rather nice collection of Enrico Cappuci ties + coordinating pocket squares – I could see Bo in this combo or maybe this one.
I’m not sure I’ve nailed it though. I think Record Label Bo needs a look that says “don’t mess with me because I have a Mediabase audience impressions report and I’m NOT afraid to use it!!” Can you come up with something better?

Whoa, where’s the brain bleach? This blog should have a “click on links at your own risk” warning. ;-) Maybe he saved the IDWB shirt and can have it made into a tie and pocket square.
Bo looked so good at the BOG premier that I think he’ll look just fine. Well, except for that hair trim issue.

Oooh yes! If I were Rock Star Bo, I would not mess with Label Exec Bo looking like that. But if Label Exec Bo wanted to give me a good talking to … well, I’m just sayin’ that would be OK too.

I bet Bo’s Grannie Madge would be willing to whip up a tie and matching pocket square. Just not sure it goes with the Dashiki’s.

I used to have a patch on my jeans when I was younger that looked similar to Choice #1.
I don’t think I could do any better than the money suit – tie not included and not necessary! But for the times Bo does need a tie, I’m thinking something black with a few skulls on it??

Suedel, hubby’s gonna love that outfit for sure. As for the ties, the solution is simple: Bo just wants ‘em hunter effin’ green!

Actually, I was joking, especially with the pants. I do like the jacket and boots though. That “Money” suit would be my top choice too. If I ever saw LEB (Label Exec Bo) live in that thing, I’d … well, I don’t know what I’d do, probably drool and then faint.

Bo’s not going to look like a copycat because Bo’s not going to wear any of this. (Sadly, in the case of the money suit, because I really think he should at least consider it!).

Well I was gonna try to post a picture of Bo in jeans, a t-shirt and sandals, but I’ll skip it and just say I bet that will be LEB’s meeting attire. ;-)
