Yes! Yes! Thank you! Yes!
At long last! A reason to write about my Most! Favorite! Day! of Blogging! Ever!
(Truly. Do you have any idea what it’s like to blog about a celebrity who apparently visits neither rehab clinics nor prostitutes? You try it for awhile. It’s bleak, people. Bleak.)
That prince of a guy Glenn Parker weighs in again on the bar fight he shared with Kevin Bo a year ago Easter.
Parker also had an interesting run-in in 2006 with former American Idol contestant Bo Bice. Reportedly, Bice punched the 6-5, 300-pound Parker. But Parker is able to laugh about the event now.
“I was trying to be myself and be quiet on an Easter Sunday and ran into a buzz saw of a personality, seemed to want to pick on the biggest guy in the bar. The bartender was sitting there at the same time and couldn’t believe what transpired.
Everybody’s got their problem’s I guess, Bo’s are just, I don’t know, is he still making music? Is he still alive?
I still find it really, really hard to believe that Buck Fifty Bo would take on a 300 pound former NFL offensive lineman for absolutely no reason whatsoever, but hey — I guess stupider things have been done in bars. I guess. Maybe. But I also think it’s at least possible that it wasn’t quite as unprovoked as Glenn portrays it.
Thank you so very, very much, sjohnston, for the link.

You certainly would have more to blog about if you followed Lindsey Lohan’s career, ThreeD.
I’m not quite buying this guy’s interpretation of the events, either, but I find the description of Bo as a “buzzsaw of personality” to be somewhat amusing. Kevin rocks!

Yeah, I’m sill not buying this guy’s story. If he would have owned up to his part in all of this, I might have believed him. But trying to come off as a saint is a dead give away that this guy is lying. So Parker, what are you doing these days? Just trying to stay in the news, huh?

Me too not buying. He had to mention the bartender was there too in an attempt give credence to what he said. Yeah right.

We all know that Bo is a lover not a fighter.

Hey, Parker, I can see why your wife says you are “forgetting things” — you forgot what a wise azz annoyance you are.

Ha…sounds to me like exactly the oppisit happened. What a load of crapola.

A loser and a liar huh? But I can’t help just adoring Bo for sticking up for himself. Love, love, love!

I still put the blame on Parker. I read online, take it for what you will, that he’s bisexual and was trying to pick Bo up.
But maybe this can be used to Bo’s advantage…proving to his old and hopefully new male fans that he is not that sissified boy from the TRT cover.
He’s a true Southern rocker who gets into bar fights just like the best of them.

He’s bisexual and was trying to pick Bo up? Wow. I hadn’t heard that one. What kind of bar was Bo in anyway? Maybe I do have some good stuff to blog about after all….
I think it went something like, “Hey, you that pussy from American Idol?” which was repeated one too many times. Parker was at least decent enough not to finish the fight, because he could have wiped the floor with Bo.

Not that I don’t think this guy could be gay, but I can’t see Bo as the type to punch someone just for making a pass. I think you have to be pretty insecure about your own sexuality to do that. A simple ‘no thank you’ would be so much easier.
I imagine Parker’s just a stupid bully who was taunting Bo without thinking he’d actually have the peeps to fight back.
ThreeD, it’s New York – surely you’ve heard that the entire city is Sodom and Gomorrah!

As my 4-year old would say, Parker, WHAAAATeverrrr…..
October 10th, 2007 at 4:57 pm
I think Bo may be very skilled at warding off passes from both sexes. Remember when some jerk kept asking “Are you gay†during a stickam chat? Bo finally acknowledged the question and said something like “No, I’m not gay. I’m married. But thank you anyway†as if the guy was making a pass instead of just being an idiot. Too funny.
Who knows what actually happened with Mr. Football player. But most of the remarks we read from people who meet Bo say something about what a nice guy he is. That can’t just be a coincidence. He obviously makes a good impression. I wonder if his fist made an impression Parker?
